User Analytics : Examples and Uses of Custom Events

This article will guide you through ways to apply and use the custom analysis function of adbrix and give you some examples for it.

1. The Concept and Integration Process / Examples

  1) The Concept and Integration Process

adbrix provides customized index such as 'log-in', 'purchase', 'level-up', 'add to cart' as well as the basic index like New User, DAU, Retention.
It supports 3 different APIs with different functions(FirstTimeExperience, Retention, Buy).
   By using the specified
API, you must first define the in-app event for user behavior you want to analyze.
Custom in-app events for analysis are free of charge, regardless of the number of events or amount of usage.

    a. Define the user behavior that needs to be analyzed by the marketing team or data analytics team.
Download [Custom Analysis Form] and use it for your convenience.
    b. Our development team will check your form, and integrate as the following guide.

  2) Examples of In-app Event for Each Category

    a. Commerce Apps
Analyze sign-up attempt/complete, add to cart/wishlist, main category visit, product purchase, reservation, search history, and more.

, main category visit, main contents purchase, and more.

2. Uses of Custom Index

  1) Analysis Index

Custom in-app event will be used as an analysis index.
For example, you can find out the number of log-in users or paying users among the acquired users through a certain media.
Entire data on certain user behavior regardless of media can certainly be analyzed as well.

  2) Event Postback

Custom in-app event will be used as the criteria for firing Event Post-back.
For example, you can transfer information on log-in users or paying users among the acquired users to a certain media
.
The media can attribute and optimize campaign result based on Event Postback.
Custom event applied in the Tracking Link Settings can be set as below.

  3) Set Audience Groups

By using adbrix, you can classify user groups for audience targeting advertisement.
Each custom tag set for user analysis, such as login, purchase, and level completion, is used as the criteria for classifying user groups for audience targeting.
This indicates that apps using adbrix has already been storing needed user data for audience targeting advertisement.
